木製サイディングは、色々な製品で、希望する外観に仕上げることができます。当然ながら、木に含まれる化学物質がサイディング表面にしみ出して、塗装の変色が起こることがあります。変色の起こる確率や変色のタイプは、樹種、含水率、塗装のタイプとその配合、建て方など、多くの要因に依存します。ここでは、こうした要因について考えましょう。
